Why buy your own gear?

As you begin your journey into the backcountry you will learn how to use avalanche gear such as Beacons, Probes and Airbags. We offer rentals for your AIARE courses, but it is better to get used to your own gear as early as possible. As you get more comfortable in the backcountry you will become one with your gear, if you are constantly changing gear it is much harder to create this skier/gear bond.
