Joseph Hobby

Active by nature, Joseph grew up on a farm in south Georgia and a hard day’s work outside was deeply ingrained in him. Since moving to the Rockies, training in the mountains has been an integral part of his daily life. This routine is built upon this long-standing regiment of time vested in the great outdoors. Joseph primarily spends his time climbing, ski touring and trail running. His dedication to the mountains has awarded him a proficiency in different styles of climbing including traditional, alpine, big wall and ice. He also has a deep love of ski mountaineering. These passions have led him to the Canadian Rockies, Alps, South America and many domestic mountains in pursuit of shared objectives and adventures. He continues to grow and build a knowledge for the mountain craft through personal experience, client commitment and the AMGA curriculum.
