Since then, Micah has guided mountaineering expeditions throughout Alaska as well as several high altitude mountaineering expeditions in Ecuador and Mexico. Micah also guides rock and ice routes in Utah’s Wasatch Range, alpine climbs in the Pacific Northwest, and instructs avalanche courses during the winter. Having recently moved to Colorado, Micah is excited to explore the Rocky Mountains more and guide for Apex Mountain School in the Front Range.

With Bachelor of Arts degrees in Outdoor Education and Psychology, Micah enjoys helping climbers learn the safest and most efficient climbing techniques. Micah is the founder of Alpine Existence Climbing Guides, which offers climbers personalized guided adventures and instructional courses as well as daily tech tips, gear reviews, and trip reports.  In his spare time, he enjoys climbing with his girlfriend, Hilary and playing with their Alaskan Malamute, Izta.
