What skill levels are accommodated?

We welcome riders of all abilities, from absolute beginners to seasoned mountain bikers. Because our outings are customized, your guide will select trails and progression steps that match your experience level, ensuring an exciting and productive day on the dirt.

Do I need to bring my own bike?

Not necessarily! We offer a premium rental fleet of high-quality Norco dual-suspension mountain bikes that are perfectly tuned for local Colorado terrain. You are also welcome to bring your own personal bike, provided it is in good working mechanical condition for trail riding.

Can children participate?

Absolutely! We welcome families and cater to riders of all ages. Our guides are experts at managing pacing, keeping energy high, and setting appropriate terrain parameters so that every member of the family has an incredible experience.

What is the duration of the biking sessions?

Each session is 4 hours long. We offer two convenient daily time slots: a Morning session from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and an Afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Are helmets included with the rental, or do I need to bring my own?

Helmets are not included in the base rental price, but they are available to rent at checkout.

For your safety, helmets are strictly required for all participants. You are more than welcome to bring your own certified helmet from home, or you can conveniently rent one from us when you pick up your gear.

Phase 1: Meet-Up & Orientation Connect with your professional coach at the designated trailhead or our location for gear fitting, bike setup adjustments, and a pre-trip overview of the day’s trail parameters.

Phase 2: Skill Assessment We’ll start on comfortable terrain to observe your current riding style, body positioning, and balance, allowing us to customize the coaching plan to your exact needs.

Phase 3: The Guided Ride & Coaching Hit the trails! While exploring Vail’s scenic terrain, your guide will provide active feedback on core fundamentals like cornering, braking efficiency, line choice, and terrain awareness. For advanced riders, we can introduce features like descending techniques, drop management, and climbing efficiency.

Phase 4: Wrap-Up & Feedback Return to the staging area for a personalized recap, key takeaways, and specific coaching notes to help you carry your progression forward into your next riding journey.
