As the Administrative Coordinator at Apex Mountain School, Max oversees a wide range of operations, including marketing, social media strategy, program development, day-to-day logistics, and gear maintenance. Combining his leadership skills with extensive field experience, he ensures that all aspects of the school’s programs run seamlessly and align with Apex’s commitment to excellence and safety.

With a decade of experience as a climber and ski mountaineer, Max has summited and skied numerous technical routes across Colorado, from iconic Front Range peaks to lesser-known lines in the Southwest. His firsthand knowledge of the mountain environment informs his approach to both risk management and client development, focusing not on pushing boundaries, but on expanding comfort zones through skill, confidence, and trust.

A graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Production and Media Studies, Max also leads the school’s marketing and media efforts. He leverages his background in storytelling and digital communication to strengthen Apex’s presence, engage the community, and inspire new adventurers to explore the outdoors safely and responsibly.
