Avalanche Education

Private Group Of Up to 6 People

What are the advantages of taking a AIARE Level 2 Private course?

An AIARE Level 2 Private course provides a focused, tailored experience that allows your group to delve deep into advanced avalanche safety skills in a group not subject to open enrollment groups. Training with your regular backcountry partners ensures everyone is on the same page, making it easier to practice complex snowpack analysis and terrain evaluation together.

Who should book a AIARE Level 2 private course?

The AIARE Level 2 private course is perfect for experienced backcountry skiers and snowboarders who regularly travel with the same group and want to advance their skills together. It’s also an excellent option for corporate groups, schools, and outdoor programs looking to offer advanced avalanche education in a personalized setting.

Can we customize the curriculum for a AIARE Level 2 private course?

Yes, while the core curriculum is consistent with the standard Level 2 course, a private course offers the flexibility to tailor the experience to your group’s needs. Whether you want to focus on specific topics like snowpack analysis, advanced terrain assessment, or forecasting, our instructors will adjust the course content accordingly.

How does the AIARE Level 2 private course differ from the regular open enrollment course?

The AIARE Level 2 private course offers the same comprehensive curriculum as the open enrollment course but with a more personalized approach. You’ll have exclusive access to an experienced instructor, allowing for deeper discussions, tailored feedback, and a learning pace that fits your group’s preferences.
