Apex Mountain School specializes in rock, ice and alpine climbing, backcountry ski/snowshoeing trips and more. We provide courses in avalanche education, wilderness medicine, igloo building and navigation in addition to training in all activities provided. Apex offers group activities, challenges and team-building for corporate and family groups.

Apex offers half, full, and multi-day adventures year-round. We welcome all age, skill, and fitness levels. Based in Vail, Colorado, Apex Mountain School has been providing guided mountain tours for nearly a decade. We guide climbing and more throughout Colorado, Utah, and beyond - with the most extensively trained mountaineering guides in the area.
